Kazakhstan and PwC Strengthen Partnership to Attract International Investment in PPP Sector

Representatives of JSC “Kazakhstan Public-Private Partnership Center” and the PwC team met on September 24, 2025, to identify the most effective areas of cooperation aimed at improving the investment climate in the PPP sector and creating optimal conditions for implementing major infrastructure projects.

PwC experts presented an extensive portfolio of successfully implemented PPP infrastructure projects in the Central Asia and Middle East region, demonstrating the international consulting community’s readiness to actively participate in the development of Kazakhstan’s infrastructure.

The PPP Development Center presented important legislative changes that came into effect in 2025. Special attention was paid to the Government of Kazakhstan’s new approach to developing a portfolio of major infrastructure projects that will be developed in partnership with multilateral development banks.

This initiative is aimed at implementing international standards for working with investors, which significantly increases the attractiveness of the Kazakhstani market for foreign companies.

The parties agreed on cooperation for the further development of the PPP ecosystem in Kazakhstan, taking into account best international practices.
